The grand opening of Wanda Plaza and Wanda Realm Dongying in Shandong Province was held on August 15, marking the 120th Wanda Plaza that Wanda has opened in China and the 76th hotel that the Group has invested and opened in the country. It is also the 40th self-brand hotel managed by Wanda Hotels and Resorts and the 28th hotel under the Wanda Realm brand.

Located at the intersection of Beiyi Road and Qianfoshan Road in Dongying City, Wanda Plaza Dongying is a large urban complex that offers a variety of leisure, entertainment, shopping and dining options. It covers an area of 175,100 square meters and has a gross floor area of 806,000 square meters, with approximately 650,000 square meters of gross floor area above ground and approximately 156,000 square meters of gross floor area underground. It has a total mall area of 155,100 square meters and a total of 1,180 parking spaces.

Total investment in the Wanda Plaza Dongying is approximately RMB6 billion. The signing of an agreement to build a Wanda Plaza in Dongying was held on December 28, 2012 and official groundbreaking was conducted on July 19, 2013. The project encompasses shopping centers, shopping arcades, five-star hotels, high-end office buildings and SOHOs and riverside mansions, and it is the first international-class urban commercial complex in Dongying.

The opening of Wanda Plaza Dongying created a sensation in the city and attracted more than 20 million visitors and achieved sales of RMB22,048,600 on the day itself.
